Neurological surgery or Neurosurgery is the medical specialty concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of disorders that affect the entire nervous system, including the brain, spinal column, spinal cord and peripheral nerves (such as nerves in the hands or feet).
