Dr. Shillingford graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, MI in 2000.  June 2000-June 2005 University of Maryland General Surgery Residency, Baltimore, MD.  June 2005-June 2006 Cleveland Clinic Florida Fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery.  He is Board Certified in General Surgery.  He is also a member of the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery, The Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, American Medical Student's Association and Black Medical Student's Association.
